Clan Pedigrees

The pedigrees or descendancy charts shown in this section of the website have been drafted from papers provided by various sources of members of the Clan, the National Archives of Scotland, Burke’s Landed Gentry Of Scotland and from an original copy of “The Book Of The Irvings &c” written by Colonel J. B. Irving (published by Rosemount Press 1907).

It is interesting to note that almost all published information concerning the Irvings & Irvines  written in the last 100 years rely on the aforementioned book for reference and information – it is unique in the history of Scottish Clans in that respect.

These pedigrees are not definitive by any stretch of the imagination and this is an open appeal and invitation for information relating to all branches of the Clan:

All the descendancy charts are generated using Family Tree Maker 2010 software and are in pdf format.  These are fairly large files and you may need to enlarge the downloaded chart from your toolbar to be able to navigate around the chart.
